My husband wasn't a spelling champion in school like I was (okay, fine, I got 3rd place in the spelling bee. Close enough!), so I'm used to him asking me to spell stuff for him. Today he sent me this text message: "I have to get a sholder MRI"
When I called him at lunch.. (Now when you read this, remember it was spoken..)..
Him: How do you spell shoulder?
Me: S-H-O-U-L-D-E-R
Him: Oh okay. So its like "should" but with an "L".
Me: No, "should" already has an "L".
Him: Well that's just stupid.
I heart him!

LOL! Whenever my husband writes to someone, after three words (literally) he's asking me how to spell something.
ReplyDeleteI did spelling bees in school too but I never won. I always got participation ribbons. :( But I can still spell, dammit!
LOL I have a very good friend who is just as bad of a speller and always insists it's the spelling of the word that is stupid when he gets one wrong, too funny :)
