You Like Me, You Really Like Me!

Now, I'm not one to get overly mushy, but I am truly touched to receive this award, and thank you Holly so much! I means a lot to know that at least one person out there enjoys reading my blog a fraction of how much I enjoy writing it. It brings to mine my most favorite award acceptance speech, given by Billie in Satisfaction when she pretended to accept a Grammy.. "I'd like to thank the academy, for recognizing genius when they see it. Unfortunately, I have no one else to thank for this but myself. Thank you so much!"  : )

Now, for Seven interesting things about me? That could be hard, but I will try!

  1. I have the same middle name as my best friend and my brother-in-law.

  2. I have a fear of pig noses. Not on pigs of course, because that is their natural nose, but those rubber pig noses that people can put on totally freak me out. It started way back when I was a wee little lass in Huntington Beach. I remember the incident so vividly.

  3. I am obsessed with notebooks and office supplies. I could easily spend HOURS in the office section at Target, or days in a Staples.

  4. I've been to at least 50 formal dances.

  5. I want to be a writer, a hair stylist, a party planner, an interior decorator, a radio personality, a baker, a record store owner and a lady of leisure in my life. I used to want to be a country singer. And Justin Timberlake's wife.

  6. My friend and I once found 100 dollars that a lady dropped outside of a taxi. We waited about ten minutes to see if she was going to come back for it, and she didn't, and then we couldn't find her. So we went to the mall. I bought some Sun Ripened Raspberry body spray from Bath and Body Works, and a bunch of junk from Claire's.

  7. Orange is my favorite color.

    I live right by Huntington. Did you live there or were you visiting? Orange is also my DH's fave color. Not very common. My fave is blue if you couldn't tell from my blog lol

    I lived there before my mom moved us out to Oklahoma, which was when I was about 4. I only remember how we could walk to the beach, and all the houses that were on my street reminded me of castles. LOL I always get funkly looks when people find out my favorite color is orange!
